"Amazing spot! Derek, the owner, greeted us right when we walked in and we were not the exception. I watched him greet, shake hands with, or hug everyone that stopped in. The food is exceptional, my group had burgers, soups, sandwiches, appetizers, and some specials and everything was delicious. The service was top notch, it was very clean, and the vibe was incredible. A great spot to meet for lunch, and I can’t wait to be back at night. I’ve heard from many people it’s even better energy."

"We were coming back from a flight out of O’hare & looking for a place we could bring our daughter too. I HIGHLY recommend this family owned bar & grill. The food was delicious. Stick w/the specials. Our daughter chose the grill cheese w/seasoned fries & a salad. My husband had the short ribs over mashed potatoes, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms w/gravy. 10/10 the meat melts in your mouth tender. We met the owner & chef. Really nice gentlemen & very humble. The $10 old fashion special was top notch also. We will be back fore-sure. Good vibe."

"Caraway’s is the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular the moment you walk in. The staff is warm and attentive, the space has a cozy, lived-in charm, and the food and drinks were top notch. I loved discovering all the personal touches throughout the restaurant—especially the vintage basketball jerseys on the wall, which I later found out belonged to the owners’ father, who ran Moe’s bars. There’s a great story behind this place, and you can taste it in every bite. A new favorite!"

"After seeing this under construction for awhile and wondering what it was like or even open, we went in today. First impression was very stylish with a large bar inside. Lots of seating inside and on the outside is a small ( 2000 sqft) building with four walls of windows to open up to outside or close down to elements. All is very tastefully decorated with very comfortable stools and high tops tables. Service staff and owners are all very nice. It’s nice to finally have an upper end restaurant in the area, one that will probably draw people from LaGrange and Western Springs But like any restaurant it all depends on the food, do let me say I think this place is going to do very well! The menu is extensive, not everything is available right now but it’s only been open 3 days. We came with a small appetite so we ordered the pepperoni hot honey flatbread and chicken strips. The flatbread was so good very nice puffy crust, with the right amount of hot honey drizzled over the pepperoni nicely done will have that again, the chicken strips crispy with a nice taste to the breading and they come with your choice of various sauces. The strips were actually chicken breasts cut up not the normal fare found most places. As a local who could actually walk here from home and someone who usually only posts when things are bad but I felt it was important to praise a place that is new, noteworthy and offers good healthy food Good job Derek"

"Caraway’s Bar & Grill is such a hidden gem! It’s a family-owned bar and grill and you can truly feel that warm, welcoming energy the moment you walk in. The owners are incredibly inviting and friendly! The atmosphere is great. The food was amazing. The hot honey flatbread was our favorite we almost ordered two! And the poutine? So good. The brown gravy they put on the fries was delish. We went on Monday they had drink specials so we had gotten $9 margarita, I tried the cucumber jalapeño margarita and it was SO good, the perfect mix of refreshing and spicy. It was also such a nice touch that the chef came out and introduced himself. You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their guests. Highly recommend checking this place out, we’ll definitely be back, especially in the summer when they open up the large windows for that perfect warm vibe!"

"Amazing amazing amazing! Nothing bad to say about this place. My husband and I were staying at the holiday inn down the street, hungry and thirsty , looked up places to eat and stumbled upon this gem. With a cozy warm atmosphere smiles as soon as you walk in to door. Amazing aromas come from the back in the kitchen. They have been only open for nine months after talking to the bartender, who I assume is the owners wife. We ordered two cups of soups and tater tot poutine. No we didn't forget drinks my husband orders a Stella and whiskey neat. Amazing whiskey selection and clean clean taps. I my self had a raspberry mule yum yum The food omg made with love, all your food senses will be tingling. The soups made fresh homemade the loaded potato to die for and the poutine I was completely speechless. Amazing detail to flavor. The cook josh(John? bad at names) came out he was kind and showed love to the guest. True cook hospitality. We talk a bit back to the kitchen he went to finish his shift. I could go on and on !!!!Just go!!! don't drive past !!! Your wife or husband and kids won't be disappointed!!!!"

"We are in town from Indy and decided to look for some bars around the area, we walked past this place and from outside we could Tell the vibes are amazing!! We ended up staying all night! When we walked in the owner shook our hands and welcomed us! All of the bartenders were very friendly and fast getting drinks out. People were dancing and having fun all night! Once we left, they also gave us recommendations on where to go see near Chicago! If you are in town, this is a must go! We will be back when we are in town again."
